Can You Remember These People Today

Nov 01, 2022

Today is one of my favorite days of the year: when the veil is thin we can remember those who came before us and hear more clearly what they need us to know to move forward in this lifetime.

I know you haven’t heard from me in a while and I owe you updates on my summer adventures.

But today there is something more important I need to ask of you.

As you are connecting with your ancestors and your loved ones who have passed… can you please remember these two special souls with me?

The first is Cameron. The oldest son of my best friend. I knew him before he was born, his mom has been my heart and soul sister since we were twelve. I watched him grow from babyhood into a successful, caring, funny, and vibrant young man. He was in the Army, already owned a house with his twin brother, and was a loving brother to his 4 siblings. At 23 he had everything going for him.

And then… on June 21st he took his own life. It was a huge shock to everyone who knew him. We still don’t know why, or what happened… it makes no sense and it leaves all of us heartbroken and confused. My dear friend and her children, they will never be the same and it is so difficult to see their world’s forever changed. Forever in grief and wondering…

Knowing that Cameron will not be forgotten will bring a glimmer of light into their lives and I will be so grateful. Please remember Cameron today!

The second is Brasahn. The beautiful heart warrior whose story I told in my book, Wisdom from the Womb. This sweet little man would have been three in December. He was thriving, growing, living his best life of fun and laughter, playing with his older brothers… He was scheduled to have another heart surgery this week in California.

Unexpectedly on October 20, Brasahn stopped breathing.

Oh you guys… my heart.

Sometimes it feels like I will have to stop breathing as well.

I just… can’t.

Can’t imagine the heartache of losing my baby.

No. Not at 3… not at 23… not in the womb. NOT EVER.

My heart aches for Emem and her family as they learn how to live with this heartache.

Please remember Brasahn today!

If you feel inspired to donate for either Brasahn or Cameron, the links are below. I will also be donating all proceeds from my book for the month of November to these sweet families. If you were waiting for the right time to purchase it, here it is!
